"Why do you blog?" I am often asked.
Because.
Because I want to.
(Never because I should.)
Because I must.
(Blogging is a rich, profound, amazing creative outlet for me.)
Because the blogging community is full of supportive, inspirational, talented people.
(Love y'all!)
I write as The City Farmgirl on maryjanesfarm.com website two times a month. And I love it. There, I am in such wonderful company with the Ranch Farmgirl, the Rural Farmgirl, the Mountain Farmgirl, the Suburban Farmgirl, and the Beach Farmgirl. And the Queen Bee, MaryJane Butters, whom I LOVE and ADORE and ADMIRE. Farmgirls rock. (Love y'all!)
Over here, at Catching Pearls, my personal blog, I just be. I write whatever pops in my head when I'm drinking my cuppa joe (on the mornings that I have time to sit down to the computer.)
I also post recipes from my kitchen here. It's been a great resource for me, the disorganized type that I am. I sure hope there's someone who enjoys them as well. I have gone from a person who dreads getting dinner together to a person who loves to cook. I am really enjoying my kitchen time.
So thanks for being here to share with me!
Join in the comment-versation if you care to; I love hearing from you. Each and every comment is a treasure; each visitor a friend. But know that there's no pressure here. I'm not about ads or stats or numbers or followers. I'm just about being and loving and sharing.
Yep, I'm a bloggist. Glad you're here with me!
