Lawyering

I get so many emails and questions about my "lawyering," I added this page to share the basics. Especially since I never talk about law or lawyering on my "Catching Pearls" Blog.

No, I probably can't represent you. Thank you for thinking me worthy, though.
I've gotten requests for legal help all over the country and that flatters me beyond measure.
I spend most of my "lawyering" time working as Special Counsel to a company that keeps me as busy as I want to be. However, I do take certain cases on a limited basis. Most of them are ones that I simply couldn't resist. Like underdog cases. And if you are innocent and accused of a crime, well, that's hard to resist as well. Email me.

The bottom law about my lawyering is that I love the law. I've been an attorney for over 20 years. During that time I've been involved in just about every kind of case you can name. In looking back, my favorites tend to be either criminal cases or complicated business matters.

I've done a lot of non-profit work as well, which is very rewarding. One position I found particularly fulfilling, but very difficult, was as a judge in juvenile court. In the '90's I took a break from practising law per se when I started, grew, and then sold a successful company. I was bitten by the entrepreneur bug.

I have combined two of my interests, law and business, in order to help people take their business idea out of their head and move it into reality. I developed the Law-Maze (TM) Program to support any and all women who are interested in starting a business or becoming an entrepreneur.
