Come on over and share my JOY!!!!!
YES! We got that farm!
The deal that was a ROLLER COASTER is done.
Whew. Can you believe it? I can't. Pinch me.
Dreams do come true. Man.
No way. WAY!!!!
In that post I told you about the mule living in the front pasture. I never knew I wanted a dadgum MULE...never even knew what a MULE was. But, you know, HERE'S THE THING! I think she might need me to want her. So I kinda do. Even if she hasn't let me touch her yet.
She's got a sad soul. One that needs some special lovin' and care. I'm always attracted to those in the animal kingdom.
Now I've got a hilarious story to tell you about that mule. I'll tell you about it tomorrow because right now I'm about to have to get on a conference call.
Check this video out. It's a Mule Team pulling a cart through some beautiful woods in Eastern Tennessee. Impressive!

And looky here. Here's my new "crick."
Oh lordy. Heaven on earth.

A creek, a creek!!! I grew up in walking distance of a creek. Many hours wading in said creek. When I and my siblings became adults my youngest brother lived close to that same creek and when we visited my daughters would play in that creek. Loved to catch crawdads and frogs and minnows. Oh a creek is heaven!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your exciting news! Beautiful creek. And now you have a mule too! :)
ReplyDeleteHey John Boy Walton had a mule! Maude gave it to him. I'm so glad that mule got you for a Mom. You can just tell he needs some lovin'. So let's see now...three dogs, a mule...what else?
ReplyDeleteCindy Bee
PS - I showed my Shug that picture of your mule and he said awwww you can just tell it is sad. Congratulations by the way. I want to hear the WHOOOOLE story!
Hey Brenda! You know the ONE thing I was thinking about that creek, don't you? SNAKES!!!!! I adore frogs, though. Maybe we'll have all frogs, no snakes. Do you know that one of the first things my daughter did when she first saw the place a week or so ago? Ran down to that creek and asked if she could jump in it. I said SURE!!! And she did!!! Great times ahead!
ReplyDeleteHa ha chuckle chuckle. Hate to ruin your only frogs in my creek picture. Just get some snake away....I know you are going to put your brave girl panties on, because I am trying my best not to run from the snakes in my yard this year. I decided I am going to stand firm and if I want to week my flower bed and a snake shows up he better get ready to move. It is a good dream anyway..
DeleteWell that is suppose to say weed my flower bed, but I expect you figured that out yourself.
DeleteHi Linda!
ReplyDeleteWell I've got a creek. The mule isn't mine (yet).
Hi Cindy! I don't remember John Boy's mule! Been too long since I saw that show, I guess! My Grandfather used mules to plow his fields, though, so my Dad has lots of mule stories! BUT, she's not mine. She's just using my pasture. Yes, she is a sad soul. She needs us!
ReplyDeleteI'm still listening! So far the AYES have it! I'll see how much they want for the ole gal.
