I do hereby proclaim:
One day I will live somewhere
where
I can have snow
in winter time.
I'm remembering last year's storm.
Oh, how it convinved me
of something I really already knew:
I love snow.
I want snow.
I need snow.
I mean, come on...
this is how my driveway looked in the snow.
What's not to love?!
And we sang, "Walking in a winter wonderland."
So far this year? Nada. Not a flurry. Sad sigh.
How's your winter weather coming along? Is it everything you dream of?

We got our first good snow this past week. Hard to believe we usually have snow on the ground from November until at least the end of February. I am not complaining but if I could I would send it your way!
ReplyDeleteWhat Brenda said, except I will add that we did have a snow storm a few weeks ago. We were without power for hours, as were 14,000 other people in our town. Trees still had leaves on them so many people lost a lot of trees because the snow made the limbs too heavy, and the tree couldn't bear the weight. We have snow on the ground right now, but I guess it's supposed to get in the 50's this week. Doesn't bother me a bit!

Hi Brenda! Yes, we need to figure out how you can send it this way! My parents drove through some snow on the way to visit us not long ago. There was still snow in the back of his truck. He scooped it up, made a ball, and we froze it! Hope that's not all the snow we see this year!
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy! See, now that's the way the snow storms are for us down here. We lose limbs and trees and power. What a winter for y'all. This is the winter you've been hoping and dreaming of, right?
